Dear Parents and Guardians:
On Monday, September 19, 2022, the staff of Daly Elementary School cordially invites you to attend our Open House presentation. On that evening, you will have the opportunity to visit your child’s classroom for a presentation by the teacher on curriculum and objectives as well as class routines and procedures. Teachers will gladly entertain questions about the general instructional program. However, specific questions about your child must be reserved for the parent-teacher conferences that will take place in November.
Entrance for Open House will be through the Rotunda doors only. Representatives from the Daly HSA, as well as important community organizations, will be in the gym distributing information, and throughout the evening support service staff will be available in the gym to answer your questions.
Our schedule for the evening will be as follows:
Session I 6:30 - 7:00 P.M 2nd and 3rd Grade Presentations in ClassroomsSpecial Areas, 4th and 5th Gr. Band and Orchestra, Pre-K ENL
Session Il 7:10 - 7:40 P.M. PreK, 4th and 5th Grade Presentations in Classrooms, Special Areas
Session IIl 7:50 - 8:20 P.M. Kindergarten and 1st Grade Presentations in Classrooms
Support Staff 7:00 - 8:00 P.M.Nurse, Psychologist, Guidance Counselor, Resource Room, Speech and PEP will be available in the gym AIS 7:00 - 8:00 P.M. Daly support teachers for reading and math will be in the gym to talk about their programs and provide additional information on Academic Intervention Services at our school.
ENL 7:00 - 8:00 P.M. The ENL teachers will be in Room 102 to talk about the program and answer any questions.
Open House is designed to provide parents/guardians with essential information regarding our school’s many educational programs and activities. Consequently, it is not an evening designed for our students or their siblings. Therefore, we ask that you make arrangements for childcare for the night of Open House and not bring them to school, as there is no supervision available. Teacher names and room assignments are listed on the reverse side. We understand that this will be a busy evening for you, and you may not be able to visit all the staff members you had hoped to see. If you need to speak to a teacher, please feel free to call the school to leave a message for the teacher to contact you, or you may e-mail the teacher directly.
