Mission Statement

Education is a human right.  It is our goal to teach the ‘whole’ child so that all students can develop academic, physically, emotionally, and socially.  We believe that the diverse strengths and needs of Daly’s students will be accepted and appropriately supported.  We believe that instruction will be child-centered, encourage critical-thinking, and will support students in reaching their fullest potential as life-long learners.  We aim to build independence and confidence in our students so that they may take risks in their learning and grow from their mistakes.  We will be advocates for our students and create a safe environment in which their voices and thoughts are valued.  We will also foster a caring community within Daly where students are responsible S.T.A.R.R.s and show each other respect and kindness.
